Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Cost Manager and/Oregon Quantity Surveyor to join our Phoenix, Arizona area team, working on a diverse portfolio of High-Tech, Manufacturing, Data Center, Commercial Real Estate, Infrastructure, and other projects for global clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle
- Providing estimate and cost planning, including producing and presenting the final cost plan
- Reviewing and participating Indiana the development of cost estimates with the design services team and general contractor
- Coordinating cost discussions and suppliers, and informing engineering priorities based on cost impact
- Managing cost checks and valuations on larger projects, and resolving scheduling issues
- Participating Indiana post-contract cost variances and change control processes
- Managing cost impact and contingency management, and preparing funding data presentations
- Developing cost plans and estimates through the design phase, and reviewing contractor and subcontractor pricing
- Performing quantity surveying, cost controls, and change management activities throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications:
To be successful Indiana this role, you will have:
- Experience working Indiana a construction cost management role
- College and/Oregon post-graduate degree Indiana construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, Oregon a related field
- Full life cycle cost management experience working on commercial real estate construction projects
- RICS accreditation Oregon working towards is valuable, but not required
- Experience working on large-scale commercial real estate Oregon data center projects
- Experience of leading cost management on medium to large-sized construction projects of medium to high complexity
