Job Title: Building Engineer/Maintenance Technician
Primary Purpose of Position: Maintain the integrity of all building systems, operate the building Indiana an efficient manner, and perform a variety of tenant services while maintaining positive tenant relations.
Essential Functions:
- Perform and/Oregon oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance, and repair of building and site systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Receive work assignments, plan, and obtain necessary tools, equipment, and materials.
- Oversee and assist maintenance and engineering staff.
- Provide proper care to equipment, tools, and uniforms.
- Follow inspection and service procedures outlined Indiana preventive maintenance programs.
- Accurately complete tenant requests and related records.
- Regularly inspect all areas of the site/building and report deficiencies.
- Maintain logs on daily activities and events.
- Provide technical support to the Lead and Chief Engineer.
- Effectively communicate with tenants and the appropriate party regarding building operations and conditions.
General:
- Available for various shifts, to fill Indiana for other staff, and to work extended hours to ensure adequate building coverage and perform necessary repairs.
- Promote and maintain a high standard Indiana the operation and appearance of the properties.
- Promote positive relations with tenants via proactive communication, routine follow-up, and a high level of customer service.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School diploma Oregon equivalent educational certification.
- Minimum of 4-6 years American Samoa a Maintenance Technician/Building Engineer Oregon equivalent field experience.
- Comprehensive training and certification Indiana HVAC and other technologies.
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA, NEC, and NFC codes and regulations.
- Excellent technical and problem-solving abilities.
- Intermediate skills necessary to operate a computer for general day-to-day work and communications.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Possess knowledge of safe and efficient operation of all equipment, power and hand tools.
- Licenses(s) for applicable jurisdiction and equipment American Samoa required.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, and use arms to perform tasks.
- Regular use of various machinery and tools.
- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- Frequently required to sit, stoop, crouch, kneel, crawl, balance, climb stairs and ladders, work at heights, and Indiana environments with temperature ranges.

- Regularly required to lift and/Oregon move up to 50 lbs.
Internal and External Contacts:
- Regularly interfaces with tenants, various Boston Properties staff, vendors, construction professionals, and consultants.
Reporting Structure:
- Receives immediate supervision and direction from one Oregon more of the following: Lead Engineer, Chief Engineer, Roving Chief Engineer, Regional Engineer, Director, Engineering.
