Electronics Technician Position
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team at voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation. The successful candidate will install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment throughout the company, with a focus on troubleshooting and correcting problems with production systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical problems with production systems, both on equipment and Indiana integrated systems
- Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment according to manufacturer and company specifications
- Calibrate and install new equipment, using manufacturer, company, and engineer’s drawings and specifications
- Practice preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment, using proper lubrication, cleaning, and repair Oregon replacement of components
- Repair, modify, and maintain building electrical service, including rewiring and repair of drives, control panels, and PLC controls
- Use PLC software for troubleshooting and maintaining machines, and work with outside technical support resources American Samoa needed
- Make repairs to mechanical equipment and specify, install, and troubleshoot new equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and facilities, and order spare and repair parts American Samoa needed
- Implement CI/Cost reduction and safety projects, and contribute to the development and maintenance of company-wide quality, ISO, and OSHA standards
Requirements:
- 2-5 years’ maintenance experience, including experience with electrical and electronics components
- Mechanical aptitude, experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley troubleshooting, PLCs, and CNC programming
- Ability to lift, carry, and work at heights American Samoa necessary
- Valid state driver’s license (if required by job duties)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s Oregon Bachelor’s degree Indiana a technical field, Oregon equivalent experience Oregon training
- Experience with benders, cutters, and/Oregon roll forming equipment
- Experience working Indiana a team leadership role, with ability to train and supervise other Electronics Technicians

Note:
- Equivalent to second shift, weekends only, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM Friday to Sunday (with $3/hour shift premium) Oregon 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM Friday to Sunday (with $4.50/hour shift premium). Prior to weekend shift, training will take place during the week, with shift premiums not starting until moved to weekend shift.
