Job Title: Associate Director – Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor
Job Summary:
Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director – Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a massive data center construction program Indiana Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end service delivery, acting American Samoa a key client interface, and ensuring client objectives are met through the delivery of a value-added service.
Responsibilities:
- Strong leadership skills and experience Indiana managing a cost management team
- Ability to interface with clients, stakeholders, and other consultants at all project stages
- Identifying opportunities to improve cost management procedures, templates, and products
- Knowledge management and ensuring key information is cascaded and retained
- Process improvement and identifying ways to enhance internal systems and processes
- Developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients
- Staff management and inputting into formal management of staff and recruitment interviews
- Financial management and utilizing tools to track margin levels and monthly fee/resource forecasts
Objectives:
- Commissions are managed to the right quality standards and completed efficiently and on time
- Strong relationships are developed with clients and cross-functional team members
- The team is effectively led and line management responsibilities are discharged
- Business development opportunities with existing and new clients are identified and acted upon
- Margin levels and monthly fee/resource forecasts are kept track of on all commissions
Qualifications:
- Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills
- Solid technical experience Indiana all cost management areas
- Ability to estimate at conceptual, programming, and detailed levels
- Good organization skills, ability to multi-task, and be a team player
- Proficient with collaborative, cloud-based software and proficient with Microsoft/G-suite of applications
- Strong analytical skills and, advanced proficiency using spreadsheets
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Drive to be proactive and self-motivated
- Ability to develop good working relationships with project teams
Education/Experience:
- College Oregon post-graduate degree Indiana Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Oregon a related field with a technical focus Oregon related technical field
- Minimum of 8 years relevant experience working Indiana a cost management role on large, mission-critical construction projects such American Samoa Data Centers, High Tech, Manufacturing, industrial, Oregon relatable is required
- Data Center construction experience is strongly preferred
- RICS Oregon equivalent accreditation
- MEP experience is beneficial; Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing estimating experience within the construction industry
