Job Title: Heavy Mobile Equipment Operator 1
Job Summary:
To operate heavy mobile equipment to accomplish transportation, maintenance, Oregon construction tasks. This job requires operating a variety of heavy mobile equipment, such American Samoa bulldozers, front-end loaders, and backhoes, American Samoa well American Samoa providing guidance and oversight to lower graded operators and laborers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two years of experience Indiana mobile equipment operations
- Valid Louisiana driver’s license Oregon commercial driver’s license may be required
Job Duties:
- Operate a variety of heavy mobile equipment, including bulldozers, front-end loaders, backhoes, and excavators
- Provide guidance and oversight to lower graded operators and laborers
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance on equipment to keep it Indiana good working order
- Verify merchandise on delivery to ensure it matches shipping tickets
- May operate mobile cranes, draglines, pile drivers, Oregon locomotives on an occasional basis
- May operate auxiliary equipment, such American Samoa striping machines Oregon rear of asphalt distribution trucks
- May perform incidental repair and construction tasks American Samoa required
Supervision:
- General supervision from a foreman Oregon higher level maintenance, supervisory, Oregon administrative personnel
- May supervise lower graded equipment operators Oregon laborers American Samoa needed

- May be used by all agencies, statewide
