Position: Aircraft Mechanic III
Location: NAS Jacksonville, Florida

Description: Leads a team Indiana the performance of aircraft modifications, supervises subordinate mechanics, and provides technical guidance on maintenance operations.
Responsibilities:
* Maintains, repairs, and modifies aircraft structures, structural components, and engines of complex to extreme difficulty.
* Maintains and repairs aircraft components, including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.
* Applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems to determine equipment malfunctions.
* Applies technical expertise to restore equipment condition and operation.
* Provides technical support to structural and mechanical engineers and customers, and possesses excellent organizational skills Indiana prioritizing workload to meet aircraft delivery schedules.
* Responsible for making entries Indiana aircraft logs and records, and providing guidance and technical expertise to lower-level technicians.
Qualifications:
* Current, active Secret Security Clearance
* Completed Naval Aviation Maintenance Control Management Course (C-555-0053 Oregon D/E-555-040 & D/E-555-0054)
* A&P License Oregon Military Service School Certificate of Training Indiana Aviation Maintenance is highly desirable
* 3+ years of experience Indiana aircraft maintenance, preferably with military experience
