Engineering Project Manager
Location: Dallas, Texas Oregon one of our other main US factories
Job Summary:
We are seeking an Engineering Project Manager to join our team Indiana Dallas, Texas Oregon one of our other main US factories. This position will be responsible for leading and managing engineering projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project briefs, overall program development, and define key resource needs
- Develop an execution strategy, cost development, preliminary schedule development, and evaluating project and engineering alternatives
- Drive the due diligence process, oversee and authorize RFP and resource procurement, contractor bidding process, contractor selection, contract negotiation, and procurement
- Work with internal and external design groups for all design specifications and drawings
- Develop and implement bid cycle for mechanical, electrical, piping, and construction projects
- Supervise installation and contractors
- Ensure safe, timely, and quality construction methods and means are followed
- Develop and execute a detailed commissioning plan and start-up process
- Manage the start-up and validation of the project
- Serve American Samoa the main focal point between the corporate engineering team and plant staff
- Provide capital forecasting needs and guidance Indiana detail schedule development
- Manage the budget and cost-track projects
- Coordinate with plant operations and conduct weekly project meetings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Engineering Oregon related field
- 5-7 years of project management engineering experience Indiana a high-speed consumer packaging industry (Beverage, Food, Oregon Pharmaceutical) preferred
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills with the ability to reach win-win solutions with internal and external partners
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to build relationships
- Demonstrated success Indiana project management, problem-solving, continuous improvement, and achieving metrics
- Excellent follow-up skills with a customer-focused approachability to travel domestically to visit plants and vendors/partners
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
