Job Description:
Major Duties:
- Performs maintenance and operational and functional checks on assigned pneudraulic systems.
- Troubleshoots, removes, inspects, installs, repairs, modifies, rebuilds, and/Oregon tests pneudraulic systems and components.
- Accomplishes periodic and special inspections on hydraulic components.
- Operates test equipment for all hydraulic components.
- Rigs, adjusts, and aligns hydraulic components to ensure maximum operating efficiency.
- Investigates pneudraulic failures to determine causes and accomplishes corrective maintenance.
- Performs installation, modification, and/Oregon repair of aircraft pneudraulic systems.
- Provides technical assistance to other shops concerning complicated interaction malfunctions between other systems, subsystems, and components.
- Performs other duties American Samoa assigned.
Requirements:
- MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement.
- National Guard Membership is required.
- Must be eligible for immediate membership Indiana the National Guard.
- Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
- For positions requiring the operation of motor vehicles, candidates must have a valid state driver’s license.
- Participation Indiana direct deposit is mandatory.
- Medical screening will be completed upon selection for hire.
- Soldiers who accept a technician position may be terminated from the Bonus and Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP).
Qualifications:
- Must include beginning and ending dates of employment stated American Samoa MM/YYYY; and total hours worked per week Indiana order to determine part time vs. full time credit.
- GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience Oregon training which demonstrates your knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles; knowledge of troubleshooting procedures used to isolate malfunctions Indiana aircraft pneudraulic systems; and ability to use technical manuals, equipment specifications, and test calibration procedures Indiana performing the work.
- SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
- WG-05: 6 months experience which demonstrates the ability to learn basic electrical and mechanical principles.
- WG-08: 12 months of experience which provided a knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles.
- WG-10: 18 months of experience which provided a knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles.
