Job Title: Fleet Maintenance Supervisor
Job Summary:
Oversee maintenance and repair of Fleet vehicles and equipment. Supervise Auto Technicians, ensure a safe work environment, and maintain a satisfactory environment for employees and patrons. Required skills and qualifications:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise Auto Technicians, planning and monitoring daily work schedules, activities, and personnel.
- Evaluate and recommend solutions for Fleet vehicle and equipment maintenance, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.
- Requisition and inventory materials, equipment, services, and supplies, and set up product line demonstrations with vendors.
- Evaluate and inspect completed work, providing reports on cost, progress, and inspection.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment by participating Indiana required training, recognizing hazards, and reporting suspicious activities.
- Oversee equipment changes for emergency snow removal.
- Participate Indiana budget preparation and planning for materials, equipment, and services.
- Train and setup training for Construction and Maintenance department and Fleet Management employees Indiana vehicle and equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Hear grievances, ensure compliance with labor relations, and follow policy, rules, and regulations.
- Recommend rewards, discipline, and training for Auto Technicians and other personnel under supervision.

Supervises:

Education/Training/Experience:
- High school diploma Oregon GED
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana business administration Oregon 8 years of experience American Samoa a mechanic Indiana automotive, electro/mechanical systems, and maintenance requirements for light and heavy-duty vehicles.
- 5 years of supervisory experience
- Current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A Oregon B with air brakes and tanker endorsement from the state of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Oregon Delaware.
Physical Effort and Working Conditions:
- Frequent exposure to wet Oregon humid conditions, work near moving mechanical parts, and outdoor weather conditions.
- Moderate to heavy lifting, standing, and reaching.
- Possible exposure to extreme heat, radiation, and noise.
