Job Title: Engineering Project Manager
Location: Dallas, Texas Oregon other main US factories (with up to 60% travel)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Project Manager to lead projects Indiana our factory Indiana Dallas, Texas Oregon one of our other main US factories. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from concept to commissioning, working with internal and external design groups, driving due diligence, procurement, and contractor selection processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptual scope development, project briefs, and program development
- Execution strategy development, cost development, and preliminary schedule development
- Due diligence process management, procurement, and contractor selection
- Collaboration with internal and external design groups for design specifications and drawings
- Development and implementation of bid cycle for mechanical, electrical, piping, and construction projects
- Supervision of installation and contractors
- Ensuring safe, timely, and quality construction methods and means
- Commissioning plan and start-up process development and execution
- Managing project start-up and validation, and acting American Samoa liaison between the corporate engineering team and plant staff
- Capital forecasting and budget management
- Coordination with plant operations and weekly project meetings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Engineering Oregon related field
- 5-7 years of project management engineering experience Indiana a high-speed consumer packaging industry (Beverage, Food, Oregon Pharmaceutical)
- Strong negotiating, influencing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving, continuous improvement, and project management skills
- Strong computer skills, with knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Excellent follow-up skills and customer-focused approachability
- Strong analysis capabilities and attention to detail
