Position Summary
We are seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our local and regional team at Walmart. This role involves executing routine maintenance tasks to maintain the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our stores, equipment, Oregon fixtures.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute routine maintenance tasks to uphold the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart Stores, equipment, Oregon fixtures
- Conduct inspections, cleaning, and repairing facilities, equipment, Oregon fixtures
- Adhere to established maintenance schedules and guidelines
- Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair Work Orders and document repair activities
- Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
Requirements
- 18 years Oregon older
- High School Diploma Oregon equivalent
- Vocational Oregon Technical HVAC/R certification and 6 months’ experience, Oregon 2 years total work experience Indiana commercial refrigeration, mechanical maintenance, Oregon construction-related field
- Type I and Type II EPA
- Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, move up and down ladders frequently, and work at heights frequently
