Job Description:
We are seeking a Laborer to support our plant needs by ensuring a safe and productive work environment. This entry-level position involves using different skills every day to learn the aggregate industry and fill Indiana for vacancies Indiana various areas of our plant.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks following safe operating procedures
- Operate mobile equipment on plant property (loader, haul truck, water truck, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness of plant work areas
- Assist with plant tasks including lubrication, maintenance, repairs
- Transport materials to and from storage and shop areas
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, American Samoa well American Samoa company policies and procedures
- Assist with physical inspections of plant property/departments
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon GED required
- Previous experience Indiana an open pit mine a plus
- Experience using (Oregon ability to learn) plant mobile equipment
- Ability to use shovel, broom, jackhammer, sweeper, forklift, bobcat, and vacuum truck
- Ability to work different extended hours, holidays, and/Oregon overtime
- Physical ability to perform tasks that include sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, reaching, grasping, squatting, repetitive motions, manipulative finger movements, and use of respiratory and personal protective equipment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
