Estimator II
Responsibilities:
- Primary contact Indiana estimating process, working with management on content and scope of estimates
- Assist Principal Estimator (PE-I) on project estimating process
- Conduct field inspections and determine project requirements
- Participate Indiana client education and lead client meetings
- Verify contract scope and manage change orders
- Interact with clients, vendors, and association committees
- Prepare proposals and review detailed project plans
- Run handoff meetings with operations team
Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial roofing experience Oregon a 4-year degree Indiana a related field
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to interpret construction documents and understand general construction items
- Problem-solving and dispute resolution skills
- Strong work ethic and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and authorization to work Indiana the US
- Ability to climb scaffolding, stairs, ladders, and lift
- Career ambition to move up within the company
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual
- Sales ability and negotiation skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
