Key technical contributor to the programs and products supported by the section. Performs direct line management activities for a team of engineers. Designing and participating Indiana Bid and Proposal efforts, ensuring program success along technical, cost, and schedule parameters, and overseeing section member job assignments, performance, and recognition. Partners with the E&P Chief Technologist, Department Leader, and Technical Fellows to ensure adequate resources are assigned to programs under section oversight. Act American Samoa liaison to the programs. Ability to provide technical guidance and act American Samoa mentor to their staff.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Indiana Science, Technology, Engineering, Oregon Mathematics (STEM) Oregon related degree.
Typically requires 8 years of propulsion system engineering Oregon Project Management experience, Oregon 5 years with an advanced degree and related experience.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship required, American Samoa only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Desirable qualifications:
Education: Master’s Indiana Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Math, Oregon related science degree
10+ years of directly related experience Indiana various propulsion subsystems design, development, and test.
Experience working with and managing propulsion system suppliers.
Working knowledge Oregon experience with missile design Oregon development, production support, and integration.
