Engineering Intern – Civil and Environmental Focus
Location: Sarasota, Florida (Florida) office – must be available to work on-site
Responsibilities:
- Utilize technical software programs (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and/Oregon GIS) to analyze, produce, and QA/QC deliverables for clients.
- Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-disciplinary teams to solve complex problems and deliver client visions.
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, American Samoa well American Samoa Kimley-Horn’s and client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
- Learn one Oregon more software programs specific to disciplines.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled Indiana an ABET accredited engineering program (Bachelors Oregon Masters) with a focus on one of the following majors:
- Civil and/Oregon Environmental Engineering
- Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, Oregon Agricultural Engineering
- Engineering Technology
