Asphalt Project Manager/Estimator
Job Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced Asphalt Project Manager/Estimator to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of projects for our Eastern Iowa Asphalt Division. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with a strong background Indiana construction and estimating.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare cost and labor estimates
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and financials while ensuring quality control plans are Indiana place
- Assess and control project risks, and communicate effectively with teams, clients, and customers
- Identify and manage project changes, including developing change orders
- Maintain a safe work environment, enforcing procedures and regulations
- Collaborate with sales, scheduling, and management teams to ensure project success
Requirements:
- Previous asphalt paving experience preferred
- Project management experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree Oregon equivalent experience Indiana construction management
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Excellent math and geometry skills
- Proficient Indiana Excel and estimating software (a plus)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Work Environment:
- Overnight travel may be required statewide
- Fast-paced, multitasking environment with frequent customer interactions
- Must be able to work independently and interact effectively with internal and external customers and partners
