Diesel Technician
Seeking an experienced Diesel Technician for a well-respected, Construction Equipment Sales and Service company.
Responsibilities:
- Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on earthmoving equipment.
- Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
- Delivers quality repairs Indiana a timely fashion.
- Communicates effectively with customers and team members.
- Maintains a clean work area and performs work Indiana a neat and orderly manner.
- Follows all safety rules and regulations Indiana performing work assignments.
- Completes all reports and forms required with work assignments.
- Accounts for time and material used Indiana performing duties.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience performing service repairs on earthmoving equipment.
- Volvo, John Deere, Caterpillar, JCB experience preferred.
- Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment.
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.
- Basic Service Technician certification preferred.
- High School Diploma Oregon equivalent experience required; associate’s degree preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
- Forklift license preferred.
