Survey Technician Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Survey Technician to join our team at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC). American Samoa a Survey Technician, you will work both independently and with a crew to conduct field survey work, including boundary surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title surveys, topographic surveys, and construction stakeout. You will be responsible for operating survey equipment, collecting data, and maintaining company equipment and survey vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field survey work, including boundary surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title surveys, topographic surveys, photo control surveys, route surveys, and construction stakeout
- Operate robotic total stations, GPS receivers, and other survey equipment
- Collect and record field data accurately and efficiently
- Maintain company equipment and survey vehicles
- Work independently and collaboratively American Samoa a member of a field crew
Ideal Candidate
- 1 year of experience American Samoa a Survey Technician
- Proficient Indiana field note taking and survey equipment setup and use
- Experience with Trimble software and equipment, including Trimble R-10 GPS and TSC3 data collector
- Understanding of coordinate translation, rotation, and datum adjustment
- Experience with job setup and project calibration
- Familiarity with Arizona State Plane coordinate system
- Strong understanding of surveying principles and mathematics
- Valid State of Arizona driver’s license required
