Audio-Visual Technician Job Description
Job Summary:
The Audio-Visual Integration Technician installs and programs audio-visual equipment for clients, including equipment termination, cable management, and setup of proprietary systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Dress, label, pull, cut, and terminate cables
• Install and manage video routers, switches, cameras, and display equipment
• Identify various cable types and mount display equipment
• Program various equipment and troubleshoot audio-visual issues
• Manage inventory of repair and replacement parts and record serial numbers
• Complete and update project reports, photos, timecards, and project status
• Provide world-class customer service and adhere to company Mission, Vision, and Values
• Complete all assigned projects Indiana a high-quality manner and Indiana compliance with project scopes
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability:
• Proficient with voltage meter, soldering iron, tone generator, multimeter, and other testing equipment
• Ability to read and interpret reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings, and room flow diagrams
• Experienced with Microsoft Office and web-based portals
• Ability to fit into tight spaces, including ceiling access panels and closets
• Ability to learn quickly and make sound decisions
Qualification Standards:
- Minimum of two years of experience Indiana audio-visual integration technical environment
- High School Diploma Oregon equivalent
- Mathematical skills to apply concepts such American Samoa fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $25.00 – $30.00 based on experience
