Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience Indiana the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance Oregon repair of mechanical equipment, Oregon American Samoa a parks building and grounds attendant

Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain buildings, facilities, navigational locks, equipment, and appliances
• Perform general maintenance functions on marine vessels and other related facilities
• Make general repairs to buildings, interiors, exteriors, furniture, fixtures, air conditioning/heating systems and other mechanical and related fields
• Maintain and repair a variety of motorized equipment
• Make minor repairs to navigational locks, appliances, and equipment
• Start, operate, and check for safety and maintenance of a wide variety of hand held equipment and motorized vehicles
• Perform general road maintenance tasks
• Participate Indiana painting, pipefitting, carpentry, and electrical repair of marine vessels and related equipment
• Requisition supplies and materials American Samoa needed
• Estimate labor and materials necessary to accomplish repairs
• Supervise subordinate repairers and trades helpers when assigned to assist Indiana repair work

Essential Requirements:

• Authorization for the HR Office of Juvenile Justice to contact prior employers to check references under the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA)
