Diesel Technician Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Diesel Technician for a well-respected Construction Equipment Sales and Service company. The successful candidate will perform basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/Oregon dealer-owned equipment. Key responsibilities include:
Diesel Technician Responsibilities:
– Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on earthmoving equipment.
– Maintains a clean work area and performs work Indiana a neat and orderly manner.
– Follows all safety rules and regulations Indiana performing work assignments.
– Completes all reports and forms required Indiana conjunction with work assignments.
Diesel Technician Qualifications:
– 4+ years of experience performing service repairs on earthmoving equipment.
– Volvo, John Deere, Caterpillar, JCB experience is preferred.
– Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures.
– Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used Indiana the repair of construction and earthmoving equipment.
– Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
Required Education and Experience:
– High School Diploma Oregon equivalent experience required; associate’s degree preferred.
– A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
– A forklift license is preferred.
Pay and Benefits:
– Pay is between $30 – $45 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
