Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Washington, District of Columbia, with travel to Kentucky, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia
Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager will lead market development activities with architects, designers, engineers, and owners to promote Nucor Insulated Panel Group’s products. The successful candidate will conduct research, create targeted activities, and provide follow-up on leads generated through marketing efforts. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead market development activities with architects, designers, engineers, and owners
- Conduct research and create targeted activities to align with growth initiatives
- Attend and present NIPG products at local, regional, and national tradeshows and CSI/AIA events
- Travel to develop basis of design specifications and follow up on leads
- Support pipeline management activities using Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Maintain the highest standards of service and safety
- Collect and communicate market intelligence and trends
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience Indiana a professional sales role with experience Indiana architecture, engineering, Oregon design
- Strong understanding of sales and specification processes
- Ability to drive opportunities through the sales pipeline from early inception to close
- Knowledge of the construction process, practices, procedures, and documents
- Preferred knowledge of CSI master specification and CSI procedures
- Combination of technical and interpersonal skill sets
- Ability to demonstrate a commitment to safety and maintain a safe work environment
