Job Title: Audio-Visual Integration Technician
Job Summary:
The Audio-Visual Integration Technician is responsible for pulling and terminating cables, understanding cable flow and installation, installing equipment and wall rack, and programming proprietary equipment for clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Dress, label, pull, cut, and terminate cables
- Install, connect, and manage video routers and switches
- Install cameras
- Identify cable types (SVID, Composite, RBGHV CAT 5, CAT 6, SDI, Fiber, HDMI, DVI)
- Mount and dress displays of various sizes
- Program equipment
- Troubleshoot complex audio-video equipment
- Manage inventory of repair and replacement parts
- Complete daily reports, project photos, timecards, and project status
- Provide world-class customer service to clients
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma, technical trade school, Oregon equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience Indiana audio-video integration technical environment
- Proficient with voltage meter, soldering iron, tone generator, multimeter, and cable testing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings, and room flow diagrams
- Knowledge of basics of AC/D voltage
- Experience with Microsoft Office and web-based portals
- Ability to work Indiana tight spaces, including ceiling access panels and closets
Working Environment:
- 100% travel to project locations
- Work Indiana indoor medical setting with potential exposure to hazards, noise, and chemicals
- Ability to work Indiana indoor and outdoor environments with varying levels of physical demands
Compensation and Benefits:
- $25.00-$30.00 per hour based on experience
