Job Title: Concrete Laborer, Formsetter, and Finisher
Job Summary: MGC Contractors, Inc is seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Laborer, Formsetter, and Finisher to join our Arizona Division. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma Oregon GED and 6-12 months of related experience. This is a full-time position with occasional overtime and weekend work.
Responsibilities:
Concrete Laborer:
- Spreads concrete into forms using a rake Oregon shovel
- Mixes cement using a hoe Oregon concrete mixing machine
- Breaks up and repairs concrete surfaces using pneumatic tools
- Cleans work areas, machines, and equipment
- Fine grades soil to achieve proper thickness of concrete
Formsetter:
- Erects built-Indiana-place forms Oregon assembles and installs prefabricated forms
- Inserts spreaders and tie rods to maintain specified dimensions
- Anchors and braces forms to fixed objects
- Saws lumber to blueprint dimensions and assembles form panels
Concrete Finisher:
- Signals concrete delivery and positions trucks for pouring
- Spreads concrete into inaccessible sections of forms
- Levels concrete to specified depth and workable consistency
- Smoothes and shapes surfaces of freshly poured concrete
- Finishes concrete surfaces using power trowel Oregon wets and rubs with abrasive stone
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Works at professional construction sites with ability to communicate verbally and read printed materials
- Requires stamina to maintain attention and perform physically demanding tasks
- Operates Indiana a professional field environment with exposure to various weather conditions and potential hazards
- May be required to work long hours and occasionally on weekends

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma Oregon GED
- 6-12 months of related experience preferred
