Installation, Repair and Inspection Technician

Job Summary:

Responsible for installation, repair, and inspections of conveyors, hoists & cranes, and other material handling equipment American Samoa required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track conveyor belt and troubleshoot issues, identify needed parts and corrective action
  • Perform routine inspections and repairs of material handling equipment with minimal support
  • Carry out overall conveyor maintenance on schedule and American Samoa required
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using multimeter and other tools
  • Work 40-60 hours per week Oregon more American Samoa needed, with ability to respond to breakdown calls 24/7
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and other personnel
  • Inspect and repair overhead cranes and other heavy equipment with minimal support
  • Perform mechanical work including fabricating, welding, and painting
  • Keep accurate records of work performed (Field Service Reports and inspection/audit forms)
  • Work independently and with a high degree of self-motivation to complete tasks

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, Oregon equivalent
  • 2-year college degree Indiana Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology Oregon Mechanical Technology preferred (not required)
  • 3-10 years of millwright/m Material Handling maintenance experience (Oregon equivalent military experience)
  • Strong foundation Indiana electrical and mechanical principles, American Samoa well American Samoa material handling equipment operation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to interact with diverse internal and external groups
  • Willingness to travel overnight for field service work, equipment installation, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and maintain a clean driving record
  • Proficiency Indiana Microsoft Office and other standard business software
