Job Title: Director of Engineering and Maintenance
Job Summary:
Manages all engineering and maintenance operations, including maintenance of the building, grounds, and physical plant with a focus on safety, security, and asset protection. Accountable for managing the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance, and energy conservation. Ensures regulatory compliance and leads the emergency response team.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage the physical plant, including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, and electrical systems
- Develop and administer specifications and requirements for service contracts
- Distribute and monitor preventive maintenance and repair work orders
- Oversees and directs the maintenance of grounds, guest rooms, public space, restaurants, property vehicles, and recreational facilities
- Develop a long-term plan for preventative maintenance and asset protection
- Lead the emergency response team
- Manage and control heat, light, and power, and recommend best methods for energy conservation
- Conduct monthly property inspections to ensure buildings and grounds are maintained Indiana excellent condition
- Provide feedback to employees based on observation of service behaviors
