Civil Litigation Associate Attorney
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
We are seeking a motivated entry level Civil Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team Indiana Charlotte. American Samoa a Civil Litigation Associate, you will handle a diverse caseload, including commercial, regulatory, product liability, premises liability, motor vehicle negligence, personal injury, construction defect, professional liability, and insurance-coverage matters.
Responsibilities:
* Manage various phases of litigation for assigned cases
* Handle all phases of discovery
* Appear before state and federal courts
* Perform legal research
* Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
* Conduct depositions
* Develop case facts and legal arguments
* Report case updates to managing attorney and clients
Qualifications:
* 1-3 years of experience Indiana commercial litigation, insurance defense, professional liability defense, and/Oregon construction defect litigation
* No consideration will be given to candidates with more than 5 years of experience
* Strong research and writing capabilities
* Significant experience Indiana trial and deposition
* Bar license Indiana both North Carolina and South Carolina
Work Environment: Our office is located Indiana an indoor setting with option for hybrid work after initial Indiana-office training.
