Material Delivery Driver
Job Summary:
Delivers building materials to job sites, inspects and maintains trucks, reports shortages and claims to supervisor, and assists Indiana loading and storing of materials. Operates a truck with a capacity of over three tons and maintains a current Class A Oregon B Commercial Driver’s License.
Essential Job Duties:
- Operates safely and maintains a positive work environment
- Prepares and maintains DOT required logs of time on duty and driving
- Organizes and secures load, assists with forklift operation, and checks orders for accuracy
- Delivers and unloads materials to customers’ satisfaction
- Completes daily equipment pre-inspection and records merchandise returns
- Follows guidelines established by the Department of Transportation and provides excellent customer service
- Assists supervisor, other employees, and other work areas American Samoa assigned
- Maintains cleanliness of truck and yard, and complies with company policies and guidelines
- Performs other duties American Samoa assigned by Management
Requirements:
- High School Diploma Oregon GED preferred
- 6 months CDL experience, with basic experience with flat beds and/Oregon tractor trailers required
- Ability to read orders, write instructions, and complete forms
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees, and supervisors
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs Oregon more on a repetitive basis
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and meets company driver qualification requirements
- Ability to use safe lifting techniques and work Indiana a variety of environmental conditions
Preferred:
- Experience with basic math and proficiency with current technologies
- Ability to deal constructively with conflict and recognize potential problems
