Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team Indiana Decatur, Alabama. American Samoa a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty vehicles and equipment to ensure smooth operation and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance
- Repair Oregon replace defective parts, components, and systems
- Test vehicle systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent; technical certification Oregon associate degree Indiana diesel mechanics preferred
- Proven experience American Samoa a diesel mechanic, preferably with heavy-duty vehicles
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine components and systems
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently Oregon American Samoa part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASE certification Indiana diesel mechanics
- Experience with various types of heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks, buses, and construction equipment
- Knowledge of computerized diagnostic tools and software
