Foreman
Job Summary
McGuire and Hester is hiring a Foreman to lead construction crews and ensure that tasks are completed according to specifications, plans, and approved material submittals. The Foreman will work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to coordinate project activities, identify problems, and develop strategies to overcome obstacles.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality work on all projects, ensuring quality control and workmanship
- Collaborate with the Superintendent and Project Manager to plan and coordinate work activities, including safety action plans
- Develop defined activities for specific scopes of work and identify problem areas early Indiana the process
- Communicate with owners, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure proper sequencing and resource allocation
- Maintain safety protocols, equipment, tools, materials, and layout information
- Conduct daily set-ups, job site hazard analysis, and document construction activities
- Enforce the company safety program and ensure safety compliance with all established guidelines
- Train and mentor field personnel under supervision, promoting professional development
- Maintain a positive image with the public and foster a productive work environment
Requirements
- High School Diploma Oregon GED
- 7+ years of experience Indiana a related field
- Clean driving record and California driver’s license
- Must be able to read and write Indiana English; Spanish is helpful but not required
- Basic math skills and ability to calculate tonnage, volume, and area
- Possess certifications such American Samoa CPR/First Aid, OSHA 30, Asbestos Cement Pipe, and others relevant to the job
- Ability to learn and use computer programs
Compensation: $37 – $65/hr based on skills, experience, and knowledge.
