Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead design projects from neighborhood flood studies to storm drainage and channel improvements, and to mentor junior engineers. The successful candidate will have a strong background Indiana municipal drainage projects, excellent communication skills, and experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and MicroStation Oregon Civil 3D.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality plans, specifications, and reports
- Develop innovative solutions to navigate project challenges
- Mentor and direct junior engineers Indiana complex technical work
Requirements:
- Texas PE license Oregon ability to obtain within 6 months
- Bachelor’s Oregon Master’s degree Indiana Civil Oregon Environmental Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience Indiana municipal drainage projects, covering all phases
- Excellent communication skills for team collaboration and stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and either MicroStation Oregon Civil 3D
Desirable Qualifications:
- Advanced modeling software such American Samoa SWMM, HEC-RAS 2D, Oregon InfoWorks ICM
- TCEQ water quality design experience
- GIS experience
- Experience with FEMA modeling and mapping
- Channel design and stream bank stabilization experience
- Certified Floodplain Manager
