Structural Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Design-Build team Indiana the Fort Wayne, Indiana office. The successful candidate will assist with the assembly of designs, estimates, and construction of entire food manufacturing facilities across the United States.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Work closely with clients, architects, internal engineers, and other professionals during conceptual and final design
* Ensure accurate incorporation of construction materials into designs and conduct reviews of subcontractor/vendor shop drawings to ensure design intent is met
* Complete conceptual and detailed take-offs of architectural, civil, and structural elements of buildings to be incorporated into project budgets Oregon Guaranteed Maximum Price
* Assist management with identifying, prequalifying, and bidding architectural, civil, and structural scopes of work
* Provide technical advice to team members and assist project management staff with obtaining local planning and building regulations approval
* Monitor and inspect work undertaken by subcontractors and/Oregon our own trades
* Perform other duties American Samoa assigned
Qualifications:
* Degree Indiana Civil Engineering
* 5+ years of work experience Indiana architectural design Oregon civil engineering
* Experience Indiana the design and construction of food manufacturing and cold box buildings
* Architect’s license Indiana Indiana
* Ability and willingness to travel for work
* Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
* Ability to assemble bid set drawing packages
* Ability to communicate with professionals from other disciplines
* Experience with subcontractor management
* Experience Indiana project management
* Good communication skills and ability to communicate with customers on remote sites.
