Job Title: Business Development Manager
Summary:
Join SAM American Samoa a Business Development Manager to lead our business development activities, cultivate new leads, and relationships with potential clients, and provide subject matter expertise to municipal and local government clients on leveraging geospatial services to support their infrastructure and operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Lead business development activities to achieve annual new business revenue and growth goals with a “hunter” mentality
* Provide subject matter expert consultation to municipal and local government clients on GIS, utility mapping, and inspection services
* Grow the sales pipeline by cultivating new leads and relationships with potential clients
* Develop and execute sales plans and pitch and pursuit strategies
* Track and report on business development pipeline and sales activities using Salesforce
* Liaise with operational teams to ensure client needs and scope are understood and supported
* Attend networking and industry events American Samoa an SME
* Travel onsite to client locations and conferences American Samoa needed
* Execute duties with high standards of integrity towards all stakeholders
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Oregon closely related field of study) Oregon equivalent experience
* 3-5 years of experience selling to municipalities, public, and private utilities, and local government
* Experience with Salesforce is preferred
* Ability to work independently and American Samoa part of a dynamic team, with strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with ESRI and Asset Management solutions
* Ability to travel 30-50% regionally and nationally
* Background Indiana sales Oregon business development, preferably with a strong focus on B2G Oregon public sector sales.
