Administrative Assistant to the Dean – Division of Humanities and Social Sciences

Job Summary:

Seeking a detail-oriented and self-driven administrative professional to provide support to the Deans and faculty Indiana the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides confidential administrative support to Deans and faculty, collecting and preparing information for meetings and discussions.
  • Prepares and edits reports, communications, and written documents.
  • Updates records and maintains files, including accreditation reports and organizational charts.
  • Assists Indiana program planning and development.
  • Resolves critical issues impacting the division’s goals.
  • Interprets and analyzes information on operating policies and procedures.
  • Manages data collection and reporting for division and department budgets.
  • Coordinates staff and faculty schedules, manages mail, publications, and correspondence.
  • Maintains the Dean’s schedule, communicates changes and cancellations, and coordinates meetings and appointments.
  • Handles administrative tasks, including reconciling credit card statements and preparing purchase orders.
  • Assists with teaching-related tasks, such American Samoa collecting syllabi and proctoring exams.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency Indiana Mississippi Office, database management, and computer applications.
  • Ability to work well with others and provide excellent customer service.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
