Plant Manager Job – Plywood Division
Job Summary:
- Lead a team of employees to achieve operational excellence, quality, and profitability Indiana a pine plywood plant
- Foster a Principle Based Management (PBM) culture, promoting safe work practices and environmental compliance
- Develop and implement strategies to improve process reliability, product quality, and operating cost
- Collaborate with peers to achieve company goals and objectives
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor employees to drive results and engagement
- Oversee the overall operation of the facility, from raw materials to finished products
- Ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations
- Recruit and develop a high-performing team
- Manage facility performance metrics, including production scheduling, inventory control, operating rate, and fiber recovery
- Drive Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience Indiana manufacturing leadership roles, preferably Indiana a wood products facility
- Proven track record of leading profitable change and managing direct reports
- Experience with financial management, EH&S systems, and project planning
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Engineering, Wood Science, Oregon related field, Oregon Master’s degree Indiana Business Administration
- Experience with continuous improvement tools, such American Samoa Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and 5-S
