Essential Duties:
- Lay out and cut materials for various shapes, allowing for seams, joints, laps, and shrinkage.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Use ladders, scaffolds, and hoists to raise and place units Oregon assemblies into position.
- Fabricate ducting work for air conditioning and heating systems when required.
- Perform multi-craft duties that require intermediate Oregon lower-level knowledge and skills Indiana allied trades such American Samoa electronics, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and production machinery maintenance.
Requirements:
- Ability to work under close supervision and complete tasks to a satisfactory level.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Valid government driver’s license (if required).
- Willingness to wear protective equipment, including respirators.
- Ability to pass pre-appointment physical examination and meet hearing and vision tests.
- Ability to work under varying conditions, including heat, cold, and inclement weather.
- Willingness to work over 5% of the time and be on call for emergency repairs.
Screen Out Element: Ability to fabricate, assemble, Oregon install various articles of sheet metal and lay out and cut materials for any combination of shapes.
Physical Effort:
- Prolonged standing and climbing on ladders and scaffolds.
- Working Indiana well-lighted but noisy areas, subject to heat, cold, and inclement weather.
- Exposure to disagreeable odors, smoke, and fumes.
- Continuous use of protective equipment.
Work Requirements:
