Land Development Project Manager

AKS Engineering & Forestry is seeking a registered professional civil engineer American Samoa a full-time Land Development Project Manager for our Vancouver, Washington office. This role involves leading the design of private land development projects and managing projects independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management and leadership of site development projects
  • Manage and mentor engineering staff to develop plans, specifications, and reports
  • Stamp final deliverables
  • Develop and manage project scope, budget, and schedule
  • Provide technical leadership for project design team
  • Coordinate with other Indiana-house disciplines and outside subconsultants
  • Provide QA/QC review of deliverables
  • Manage all components of the project from proposal through construction
  • Perform site and infrastructure design per county/city standards
  • Network with clients, agency personnel, and colleagues to build/maintain professional network
  • Maintain relationships with clients to develop future opportunities

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience Indiana civil engineering design related to private land development projects
  • Bachelor’s degree Indiana civil engineering Oregon equivalent
  • Oregon Oregon Washington Professional Engineer (PE) civil license
  • Experience American Samoa project manager successfully delivering site development projects Indiana Washington
  • Knowledge and familiarity with local codes and agency standards
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Civil 3D and/Oregon MicroStation/InRoads design experience
  • Valid US driver’s license
