Here is the job description:
Groundperson
Operating Chainsaw and Equipment
- Equip, maintain, and stock necessary supplies of equipment and materials, including chainsaws and hand held equipment
- Ensure trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns are properly maintained
- Prevent and control insect and plant disease damage on property
Assisting Safety
- Assist operators Indiana noticing obstacles and hazards on the site
- Guide and direct other personnel to safe working areas and paths
- Remove loose materials from equipment
Additional Tasks
- Assist Indiana mixing and applying herbicide
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Operate vehicle and equipment on difficult and uneven terrain
- Work Indiana varying temperatures and weather conditions
- Be exposed to hazards such American Samoa dangerous equipment operation and hazardous materials
Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent preferred
- No experience necessary but prior experience is a plus
- Pass pre-employment pre-screen, background check, and MVR check
- Valid driver’s license required
Physical Demands
- RARE: Sitting, Crawling, Climbing Poles
- OCCASIONAL: Stooping, Kneeling, Squatting, Lifting 10-50 lbs
- FREQUENT: Standing, Walking, Manual Dexterity, Seeing Distant
- CONTINUOUS: Sense of Touch, Gripping, Seeing
