Job Title: Facilities Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Facilities Mechanical Engineer to support Jacobs’ work through HKA Enterprises Indiana Corvallis, Oregon. American Samoa a key member of our team, you will work on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ research and development, testing, and manufacturing. You will collaborate with client stakeholders, design staff, and equipment manufacturers to establish design requirements and produce construction documents for complex manufacturing tools, tenant improvements, and core facility infrastructure upgrades.

Responsibilities:

• Design and layout for wet and dry piping, equipment layout, HVAC, exhaust, fire suppression, process chemical piping, and gases for complex industrial facilities
• Engineering calculations, equipment and component sizing, selection, and specification
• Support during construction and integration into the factory
• Collaborate with multi-discipline design teams, client equipment owners, stakeholders, and equipment manufacturers
• Assist with RFI and submittal services on site during the construction phase

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree Indiana Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
• Three (3) years of practical application of mechanical facilities engineering
• Engineer Indiana Training (EIT) actively pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) License
• Two (2) years of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools
• Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively Indiana a variety of teams
• Passion for buildings and construction
• Working knowledge of the Oregon Mechanical Specialty Code (OMSC)
• One (1) year field experience Indiana an industrial facility

Requirements:

• Location: Corvallis, Oregon (on-site position)
• Willingness to commute to the site Monday-Friday during normal business hours
• Relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidate
• Ability to walk long distances, sit and stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, twist, crawl, climb ladders, work on catwalks, work Indiana small spaces, lift and carry up to 25lbs
• Authorized to work Indiana the United States (must complete background check, drug screen, and be fully authorized to work)
