Position Overview
Operate and assist Indiana maintenance of plant and dredge at our sand/gravel quarry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations of MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply, Inc.
- Conduct daily safety assignments (area inspections, pre-shifts, JSA’s, TRACK, etc.)
- Start crushing, screening, conveying and all related equipment
- Daily safety check of the plant
- Ensure proper size and quality of the product
- Proper and safe start up and shut down of plant/dredge
- Monitor operation of plant/dredge, making necessary adjustments and maintenance on plant/dredge
- Responsible for daily production reports
- Communicate maintenance needs on a daily basis
- Keep plant area neat and organized
- Check oil levels and grease all equipment on the plant American Samoa required
- Complete daily and weekly checklists
- Verify all equipment is functioning properly
- Other duties American Samoa assigned
Requirements
- Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check
- Current driver’s license
- Able to work various times during day, night Oregon weekend hours, at various locations
Education/Experience
- High school Diploma Oregon GED equivalent
- 1-2 years operating heavy equipment Oregon related experience preferred
- Computer experience helpful
