Construction Superintendent
Job Summary:
Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning to final inspection, ensuring workers’ safety and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the on-site team from construction start to project close
- Identify and remedy design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project-specific issues
- Communicate and interpret contract scope to the site management team
- Conduct preconstruction meetings with subcontractors
- Create and maintain project production schedules
- Review and develop scopes of work for subcontractors
- Administer Quality Control Plans
- Review and approve invoices and requisitions
- Enforce OSHA safety standards on the job site
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience American Samoa a construction superintendent for a commercial general contractor
- OSHA certification (preferred)
- Strong communication skills, oral and written
- Experience leading ground-up construction projects and managing large teams
