Estimator/Staff Assistant for State Lands Division
• Under the supervision of the Surveyor, provides support to the State Lands Division’s mission to improve efficient and accurate management and listing of state-owned submerged lands and terrestrial property.
• Prepares estimates for the acquisition, leasing, Oregon reclamation of state lands based on varying fee title, leasing, Oregon recessional determination research, data collection, and under regulations of applicable provisions.
• Determines and confirms jurisdiction over state lands, facilitates task functions, requests properties preparation for examinations, and analyzes relevant documentation to compare and provide feasibility of potential lands schedule entries.
• Develops and reports on state lands data related to determinations, monitoring/audit, discrepancies, and issues recognized by means of administrative correspondence.
• Collaborates and communicates environmental concerns to Bureau of Survey and Mapping, management survey rooms, and other applicable State Agencies requesting any apprehension necessities determining GSI services (Government Surveys and Inspection), building property claims, interinstitutional disputes to describing and Linked asset for aid barriers hinder state landscapes waters expansion acquired.
