Material Buyer Job Description:

Responsibilities:
* Assist Indiana issuing Purchase Orders (POs) for acquiring materials.
* Coordinate with vendors for timely material delivery.
* Create and manage POs, including necessary approvals.
* Support establishing and maintaining agreements Oregon contracts with vendors.
* Track and monitor material orders and deliveries using client-specific software.
* Expedite material orders and maintain expediting documentation.
* Communicate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure adherence to contractual scopes of work and Company procurement practices.
* Support cross-functional teams with engineering, construction, and other stakeholders to prepare bid materials, contracts, and contract management strategies.
* Engage with Legal resources American Samoa necessary.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma / GED, Bachelor’s degree Indiana Supply Chain Management Oregon related field preferred.
* 1-5 years of experience Indiana Procurement, with utility materials procurement experience preferred.
* Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
* Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively.
* Good Excel skills required.

Compensation:
Salary range $60,000 – $120,000, with starting salary commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
Work Environment:
This job operates Indiana a professional office environment, using standard office equipment such American Samoa computers and phones.
Physical Demands:
Ability to sit/stand for up to 8 hours per day, move freely for up to 8 hours per day.
