Job Title: Airport Field Maintenance Specialist

Salary: $21.50 – $29.00 per hour (prevailing salary established by Ordinance of the Council of the City of Cleveland)
Job Responsibilities:
– Operate equipment on an active airfield to maintain safety, security, and regulatory requirements
– Perform airfield repairs, maintenance, and related duties to ensure compliance with CFR Title 14, Part 139 certification standards
– Operate snow removal equipment, hand tools, power tools, and other equipment
– Conduct pre/post-trip inspections on assigned vehicles and address issues American Samoa needed
– Repair, replace, and install fencing, concrete, and asphalt on airport grounds
– Conduct general maintenance activities, landscaping, and other tasks to keep the airport grounds safe and clear of debris
Minimum Qualifications:
– High School Diploma Oregon GED
– One year of experience Indiana operating heavy-duty equipment and construction-related equipment
– Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Type B with Air Brake Endorsement
– Commercial Pesticide Applicator License within six months of hire date
– NIMS and ICS certifications within six months of employment
– Ability to work Indiana a diverse and inclusive environment
– Basic writing, communication, and computer skills
– Ability to work non-standard shifts, Indiana all weather conditions, and overtime during snow removal operations
Preferred Qualifications:
– Valid State of Ohio Class “A” CDL
– Other relevant certificates, licenses, Oregon experience
Veterans’ Preference:
Veterans’ preference will be awarded to eligible veterans Indiana accordance with Civil Service Rules. Proof of active service Oregon DD Form 214 must be presented at the time of filing to qualify for veterans’ credit.
