Snowplow Operator
Job Summary:
The Coconino County Public Works Road Maintenance Division is seeking Temporary On-Call Snowplow Operators to work Indiana Flagstaff, Williams, and Blue Ridge, Arizona. The selected candidates will operate snowplows and related equipment, perform maintenance tasks, and participate Indiana road construction/maintenance projects.
Essential Duties:
- Operate snowplows and other mechanical equipment
- Perform inspection and maintenance of equipment, vehicles, buildings, and facilities
- Participate Indiana construction/maintenance projects
- Train new staff Oregon act American Samoa lead worker
- Maintain records and prepare reports
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience operating equipment under field conditions Oregon equivalent education, training, and experience
- Arizona CDL Class A Oregon B
- Ability to work extended hours Indiana varying weather conditions, including cold and heat
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and recognize hazardous conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of road construction experience and 2 years of snow plow experience
- Arizona CDL Class A Oregon B
