Quality Control Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Quality Control Manager to join our team on a heavy civil project. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive quality control plan, conducting regular inspections, and collaborating with project teams to achieve project objectives while maintaining the highest levels of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality control plan tailored to the specific requirements of the heavy civil project
• Establish quality control procedures, standards, and guidelines Indiana accordance with project specifications, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements
• Conduct regular inspections of construction activities, materials, and equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards
• Coordinate and oversee materials testing and analysis to verify quality and performance characteristics
• Identify deficiencies Oregon non-conformances and work with project teams to develop corrective action plans
• Maintain accurate records of all quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports
• Generate comprehensive quality control documentation for project records and regulatory compliance
• Prepare and distribute regular quality control reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key findings, trends, and areas for improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree Indiana civil engineering, construction management, Oregon related field (preferred)
• Proven experience Indiana quality control management on heavy civil projects, with a strong understanding of construction methods and materials
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001)
• Certification Indiana quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager) is advantageous
• Proficiency Indiana quality control tools and techniques, including inspections, testing, and root cause analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work Indiana a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Familiarity with construction management software and Microsoft Office suite
• OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred)
• Ability to pass a Federal Background check and gain access to a DoD facility
• Valid driver’s license
