Maintenance Technician
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for performing various tasks related to repair, maintenance, and alterations of all district properties. The Maintenance Technician will utilize their skills and knowledge Indiana plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and other trades to ensure the efficient operation of district facilities.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent
- Journeyman license Indiana plumbing, HVAC, Oregon electrical (Oregon equivalent experience and/Oregon knowledge)
- Knowledge of DDCC system (preferred)
- Training Indiana the use of maintenance-related equipment
- Experience working with construction contractors, chemicals, industrial cleaners, welding, and carpentry
- Knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems, sports fields, and layouts of two- and four-cycle engines
- Familiarity with temperature controls, such American Samoa generators, air compressors, pumps, and motors, and knowledge of their operation
- Experience with commercial oil, gas boilers, hot water heaters, hydronic pumps, and air mixture technology
