The position is a Construction Contract Specialist Indiana the Office of Counsel with the Los Angeles District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Key duties include:

* Managing construction contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and Corps policies
* Providing legal advice and support to contracting officers and project managers on contract administration, disputes, and claims
* Conducting contract review and analysis to ensure all terms and conditions are consistent with Corps policies and regulations
* Coordinating with other government agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve contract issues and disputes
* Maintaining contract files and records, including tracking contract status and deadlines
* Evaluating the qualifications and performance of contractors and subcontractors
* Collaborating with other Offices and Divisions within the Los Angeles District to implement and enforce Corps policies and regulations

The ideal candidate will have a strong background Indiana construction law, contracting, and administration, American Samoa well American Samoa excellent analytical and communication skills.

To be eligible for this position, you must be a U.S. citizen, be at least 18 years old, and meet the qualifications outlined Indiana the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
