Job Description:
We are seeking self-directed independent contractors to provide risk control services to commercial insurance clients. American Samoa a Risk Control Inspector, you will conduct on-site surveys and provide risk control reports to identify hazards and improve safety, mitigating risk for our insurance company clients.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and conduct on-site surveys to identify potential loss-producing conditions
- Provide risk control reports to insurance industry clients, including recommendations to control and/Oregon correct potential loss-producing conditions
- Manage assigned work, successfully secure customer appointments, and complete work on time
- Evaluate businesses behind the scenes to identify hazards and improve safety
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency
- Ability to work independently and manage assignments
- Reliable vehicle and high-speed internet access
- Digital camera, Windows-based computer, printer, and measuring device (such American Samoa laser, 100 ft. tape, Oregon measuring wheel)
- Auto and General Liability Insurance
- Preferred experience Indiana commercial insurance, real estate, inspection, construction, claim, loss control, underwriting, and/Oregon fire and safety experience
Certification:
- We offer a 15-hour online certification option for those without experience (fees negotiable)
