Mechanic (Hydrometallurgical Process and Infrastructure)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled mechanic to safely perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair of equipment, pumps, and systems Indiana the Hydrometallurgical process and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Perform component diagnostic, replacement, and repairs on equipment such American Samoa upenders, rigidizers, mixers, compressors, overhead cranes, fire systems, pump systems, and hydraulic systems
• Perform mechanical and lubrication preventative maintenance, including checking oil levels, changing oil, and maintaining compressors
• Remove, repair, and install piping and pump components, such American Samoa valves, expansion joints, and check valves
• Operate mobile equipment, such American Samoa hydro lifts, mobile cranes, forklifts, man lifts, overhead cranes, boom trucks, and light duty vehicles
• Perform welding (Mig, Tig, and Stick) on structures and equipment
• Prioritize and make decisions regarding equipment repair
• Mentor and train other employees
• Perform American Samoa a Fill-Indiana Supervisor American Samoa required
• Perform other duties American Samoa required

Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience Indiana mechanical/maintenance crafts, including welder, boilermaker, machinist, Oregon facility maintenance/construction, Oregon a combination of education and experience Indiana industrial mechanical repair and maintenance
• Must have completed academic and practical competencies required and have experience demonstrating the required mechanical aptitude
• Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures Indiana English
• Ability to communicate Indiana English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
• Proficiency Indiana welding/cutting (MIG, TIG, Stick)
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, welding, plumbing, blueprints, schematics, and fabrication
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma Oregon GED
• Knowledge of pumps (valves, expansion joints, check valves) and ability to repair them
